Neutrogena Healthy Skin Rejuvenator Kit

I bought the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Rejuvenator System over a year ago and am still using it today. I do love it. However, not for the reasons you might think.

Pros

I LOVE the way my face feels after I use this and it is much less messy than standard scrubs you find in jars or tubes. I think it does a better job than most scrubs do. So I’ve kept using it because it makes my face so soft. I also like the smell of the cleanser contained in each puff.

However, I discovered it also works wonderfully for heels and elbows.

The way I use my Healthy Skin Rejuvenator is in place of scrub cleansers. I’ll take about 1 minutes to go over my entire face (except my eyes). I’ll use the same puff twice. (Because I’m not using the puffs as long as the instructions say, they last longer.) Then, when the puff is out of facial cleanser, I’ll use it to exfoliate my heels. I’d say I do this about once or twice a week.

It takes much less time (and is less messy) to use the Healthy Rejuvenator System than to use something like a PedEgg. I also use Neutrogena Heel Cream on a daily basis.

Cons

Neutrogena’s website makes the following claims about their Healthy Skin Rejuvenator:

§ 91% had smoother, more luminous skin instantly

§ 88% had visible improvement in fine lines after 1 week

§ 88% had significantly reduced appearance of wrinkles or age spots after 4 weeks

§ 72% had substantial improvement in firmness after 8 weeks

I did have smoother, more luminous skin instantly. However, I did not see visible, significant or substantial improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, age spots or firmness in the 8 weeks I used it. I followed the instructions to the T, using the machine 1 to 2 minutes per facial area. I would go over my forehead for 1 to 2 minutes then the left side of my face for 1 to 2 minutes, right side, etc., etc. No noticeable results.

Tip

Don’t order from the Neutrogena website. It’s much less expensive to order through Amazon.com. Plus you’ll get free shipping. Yes, there is a $5 coupon on the Neutrogena site, but you don’t need it. I clicked the regular Amazon link and the Neutrogena coupon link and the price is the same with or without the coupon. Neutrogena charges $38.99. Amazon charges $32.99 with free shipping so that’s actually $6 off.

Recommended? Yes, but not for anti-aging reasons
