Karon Thackston

Hi, I’m Karon Thackston, co-creator of 40SomethingReviews.com.  As corny as it may sound, I think right now is the best time of my life thus far.  I’m a 40-something who is excited about life and everything it has to offer women in their 40s.  I wanted to develop a place where my friends and I could share the experiences we’ve had with products/services other 40-somethings would use.

From digital cameras to cellulite cream, from personal to professional, we’ll post unbiased reviews of products that 40-something women use.  We  purchase items with our own money or use publicly available coupons.  We don’t receive free items in exchange for positive reviews. We do sometimes include affiliate links for products (when available) to help offset the cost of operating the site.

Make no mistake: If we like a product, we’ll say so.  If we don’t, we’ll say so

It isn’t all about us.  We want to hear your feedback, too.  Tell us if you’ve used these products and whether you’ve had similar experiences to ours.   Have questions that we didn’t answer in a review?  Ask!  We’ll be glad to give you any information we can.  Want to see a review posted?  Feel free to make suggestions.

Hi, I’m Viki Nygaard.  I must say that I agree with Karon.  I am very much enjoying the place I’m at in life right now.  I am a 40-something who’s relishing more freedom as my kids grow up.  Time is precious to me and I don’t want to waste a second of it.

That’s why I am passionate about sharing my experiences with you.  It upsets me when I spend time and money on things that don’t bring value or enjoyment into my life.  I’m sure you feel the same way.
